Saturday, Week 9:

Woo Hoo!  Two more pounds gone!!  Hallelujah!!


Saturday morning is the perfect day to sleep in.  I slept in, if you call getting up at 3:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., and then finally 9:30 a.m. sleeping in.  My little bitty chihuahua, Gidget, really had to go potty at 3:00 a.m.  At 7:30 a.m. she was just used to being up.  At 9:30 a.m. she was full of energy and she wanted me up.

Since I was up, I got dressed and headed out to do my exercises.  I used my 8 pound weights and did ten minutes of arm exercises, mixing them up and doing 3 sets.  I did 14 minutes interval training on the treadmill.  I walked 2 minutes to warm up.  Then I alternated 1 minute of walking and 1 minute of jogging for 10 minutes.  Ending with 2 minutes of walking and 1 minute cool down, totally 14 minutes.  I liked it.

After changing out of my exercise clothes, I cooked breakfast for the family.  We ate eggs over easy, bacon, biscuits and gravy.  I only ate 2 slices of bacon and only 1 biscuit but it was delicious!  After breakfast  I cleaned house, sweeping and mopping, scrubbing everything clean, and doing laundry.  I know I burned calories but I didn't document  it.

I ran errands after the house was clean ending with grocery shopping.  Now I am ready for tomorrow!!
