Friday, Week 11:

Daily comments:
What a beautiful Friday!  When I finally got out of bed.

I have always known, but I was reminded today, that I am a night owl.  I love to stay up late AND I love to sleep late.  The hardest part of my day is getting up out of bed.  After I get up, life is great!  But that few minutes trying to wake up and get out of the bed is so difficult.  This morning I wanted to get up and do 30 minutes of exercises instead of 15 minutes, so I set my alarm a little earlier.

The alarm went off.  I hit snooze and then remembered I wanted to get up.  So I turned the alarm off and lay there blinking and blinking in the dark.  I did not want to get up... but I did want to get up.  So I thought if I just sit up... I will feel like getting up.  So I sat up.  It lasted about 10 seconds.  I slowly started to lean to the right... until my head was laying at the foot of the bed and my feet at the head of the bed.  I lay there comfortably thinking, "Why can't I get up?  I don't want to get up!!  Yes, I want to get up."  Well it took about 5 more minutes to talk myself into finally getting up out of the bed.



I donned my workout attire and headed outside.


Exercise:
Oh yea!  I put on my watch with the stopwatch and started the timer.  I doubled almost all of my Kettlebell and dumbbell exercises, 21 minutes.  I got on the treadmill and walked, jogged 30 seconds, for a total of 9 minutes.  I was able to log 30 minutes of exercise.  Woo Hoo!  However my knee has been hurting all day.  I don't think my knee likes jogging.
