Friday, Week 9:

Hip Hip Hurray!  It has been a wonderful Friday.

I started my day with exercises!!  Yea!!  Dumbbells, jump rope, and treadmill.  I was able to walk on the treadmill, 10% incline, for 14 minutes.  Each day I am able to do more.  Exercise must become a part of my daily routine.  This "weigh down"  is a life change.  I am not going back.

My day at work was full and very comfortable in jeans and tennis shoes. The jeans were fitting looser today.  It won't be long before I will be cleaning out my closet and giving away larger clothes for smaller one.  I can't wait.  After work, Steve had a hair cut appointment at the mall.  While Steve got his hair cut I walked the mall at a quick pace for 30 minutes.  Wow!  I got in exercising twice today.

After we got home, I cooked Salisbury steak covered in mild Rotel tomatoes for dinner.  It was delicious!  I then settled in and watched Psych and Monk with my husband.  We laughed at Pikachu, my son Marty's Chihuahua, running around the house wearing a dog cone.  Pikachu was spayed last week and yesterday we realized she popped a couple of stitches.  I think chewed a couple of stitches loose would be more accurate.  So, Marty took her to the vet this morning.  The vet had to put her under anesthesia to clean it up and stitch her back together.  Ouch!  She better not do that again!

With all of life's daily problems and struggles...  God is good all the time.  All the time God is good.  So remember that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
