Thursday, Week 15:

Exercise:
Oh Yes!  I rolled out of bed and did 20 minutes of dumbbells and Kettlebells in the living room before jumping in the shower.  I had to get moving.  I had to be at work early for a "Go-to-Meeting" demo to view a potential new software the company is considering buying.  I enjoyed the demo presentation.  It looks like an excellent client data base/marketing/sales software.

Yep!  To Disney World in 2 weeks 4 days!

Daily comments:
Today was a nice slow day at work.  For lunch our entire office walked, only a block away, to attend a customer appreciation lunch.  Steve and I did not stay long enough to see the "mud wrestling"... but the live music was good and the barbecue was delicious!

Tonight's agenda, after work, was grocery shopping.  That's done!  We have food once again.  While I was at H.E.B., I ran into a good friend from Fluor, Cindy Dujka, (It was so nice to see her.) and I also ran into my Dad.  He was trying to locate all the ingredients in a recipe that my Mom had decided she was going to try and make.  I hate those recipes that have unidentifiable items that you have no idea where in the grocery store to look... but my dad was out trying to locate every item.  Me?  I made homemade Vegetable Beef soup when I got home and it was so good.  Then I watched my two favorite Thursday night shows, Person of Interest and The Mentalist.

Inspirational Thought:

Trust God; He is the Stronghold

Psalm 18:2 “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
Psalm 91:2 “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. ”

  1. Vegetable beef soup sounds yummy! Tonight was a very cool night and it would've been good to have soup! I like seeing what everyone else cooks, it gives me great ideas...different from the same old tired menu.

    Hugs :D
