Yes yes yes! Today was another day that I rolled out of bed with NO problems. I can't believe I am looking forward to exercising. Maybe I am just looking forward to the "results"!!

My work load has really picked up at work. I sit behind a computer and crunch data all day long. My only reprieve is getting up to go to the bathroom or out to lunch or to the kitchen to make me a cup of hot tea. I need to take a walk around the building when I get up but I am so busy I forget.
I love my hot tea. Blueberry and Raspberry Celestial Seasonings are my favorite, zero calories. I drink water, lemon water with Splenda, and Celestial Seasonings tea. Occasionally I drink coffee or juice.
Steve cooked Tilapia for Dinner tonight. I made black eye peas and green beans. We had slices of tomato on the side. Dinner was delicious!! I love how good my food tastes these days.

I wore a pair of my brand new jeans to work today... the new size. They feel too big already but I am not in the next size yet. I was told by a female co-worker today that I was wearing "mom" jeans. Mom jeans? What is that? They were just a pair of regular ole' Lee jeans. After I get to my goal weight I will have to experiment with clothing outside my normal comfort zone or outside what I have normally been wearing. Maybe I will find some "HIP" jeans or "un-mom" jeans!! I do not understand the term "mom" jeans. If I could only wear my mom's jeans!!

She has always been SKINNY!! She would say "healthy" or she would say "I just eat healthy". And she does!! She eats vegetables like other people eat pizza. Broccoli is her favorite. She loves hot tea with honey. She loves desserts... but when you eat healthy 24/7 and you are watching your weight the rest of the time... why not enjoy desserts!!I have always asked her why I did not inherit the gene of being SKINNY like her. I think I am finally getting the picture. She eats fruit for breakfast every day. Cantaloupe is her favorite. Eating fruit for breakfast was a dieting secret she and I learned about years ago on the Fit For Life diet written by the Diamonds. She eats chicken or fish and veggies for lunch and veggies for supper. She eats ALL the time but it is all good stuff that burns off quickly.
Hey mom, maybe I've had that SKINNY gene all along!! It's just been buried under all my bad habits. Well not anymore!! SKINNY girl Here I Come!!
